This is a great new take on the traditional cobbler recipe. It’s wonderful and the taste and texture will make you want to make this for every occasion.
Ingredients -
2 cans apple pie filling
1 box butter pecan cake mix
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup pecans
Cinnamon, to taste
2 sticks butter
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9" x 13" baking pan.
Put a layer of apple pie filling on the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle cinnamon to taste all over the filling.
Spread the cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling.
Sprinkle brown sugar and pecans over the cake mix.
Cut pieces of butter into patties and place all over the top of the cake.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.

If you want to make this cobbler even more delicious, try roasting pecans that have been glazed with a cinnamon, brown sugar butter mixture and baking them for 15 minutes, then follow the directions just the same. It’s amazing!

If you aren’t a fan of butter pecan cake mix, just try substituting with a yellow cake or vanilla cake and it tastes just as good!
