This is a great recipe that is delicious and oh so easy to make. It’s up to you whether you use fresh, frozen or canned fruit.
Ingredients -
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/8 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Whole Milk
1 Can Sliced Peaches, (29 ounce), juice reserved
1/4 Cup Butter
Preparation:
Cream the butter with 1/2 cup sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
Alternately add these ingredients and the milk to the creamed mixture.
Spread the batter in a greased casserole loaf pan.
Top the batter with the fruit, and pour 1 cup of juice over the top of the fruit.
Top the fruit with the other 1/2 cup of sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes then serve warm.

Even though this recipe says that it is ok to use fresh, frozen or canned peaches; believe it or not the peaches in the can with the syrup really make this dish sugary, tasty and moist.

If you want an even richer cobbler, try switching the whole milk with sweetened condensed milk. It makes it creamy, peachy heaven.
