Southern Peach Cobbler

No one can resist the fresh and delicious taste of a sweet peach cobbler. It is especially best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Ingredients -

1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Self-Rising Flour
3/4 Cup Whole Milk
1 Can Sliced Peaches in Light Syrup, (29 ounce)

 
Preparation:
    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Place the butter in a deep 2 quart baking dish and place in oven to melt.
    3. Mix the sugar and flour in a medium bowl.
    4. Stir in the milk, a little at a time, until wholly incorporated.
    5. Pour the mixture carefully over the melted butter in the dish.
    6. Spoon peaches and syrup over batter.
    7. Bake in preheated oven 35 to 45 minutes, until crust is puffed and golden.

If you don’t have time to make the flaking topping, go to your crockery store and buy pre-packaged crescent rolls and place them on top just as the directions say about the self made topping.
